General Assembly
Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is the core decision-making event of our membership.
At the assembly, board members and members of the Swiss RJ Forum present the projects and activities they ran during the past year.
The AGM also provides an opportunity to make changes to the membership and modifications of the statutes are announced and approved by voting. In addition, board elections take place and key issues concerning the whole organisation can be addressed.

Join us at our next AGM
We welcome new attendees at our Annual General Meeting. Join us to learn more about the Forum’s activities, RJ in Switzerland, and how you can get involved.
The AGM typically happens during spring or early summer.
The AGM usually takes place in Bern for members attending from various parts of Switzerland.
The AGM is open to the public, therefore everyone is welcome to attend but only members can vote.
The AGM is a great opportunity to meet and have a chat with Forum members as well as board members.
At the assembly, attendees can learn about the Forum’s various activities including our work in prisons across Switzerland and the activities of regional and interest groups.
The programme typically involves presentations, mainly from board members, voting on various items and some discussion.
At the end, there is usually a social gathering where snacks are provided and attendees can have a casual conversation with each other.
The presentations tend to be done in two or three languages based on the language preferences of the attendees. Languages might include German, Italian, French and English.
There is no entry fee to attend the AGM, but we do accept donations to cover costs for renting a room and catering.
Only Forum members can vote at the AGM. If you’d like to become a member and support us in advancing RJ in Switzerland, then please click here.
